That kick was appalling, particularly given the overlap , he just didn't look.
It was only beaten by Luakai kicking on second tackle 10 yards from the line. Beyond belief.

I have seen posts from you guys saying he should be the next international full back, got posts on here saying he will never make a full back, I think it sums up his performances pretty well, too inconsistent.

Completely over-rated, not a full back nor a half back either. At best should be a utility player. Whilst weve got players like him playing for us we'll never achieve anything. FACT!

I felt it was another poor performance tonight from Tansey. He's never going to be a full back. Weak under the high ball, dodgy in defence and poor kick returns. The 'no try' where Cooke kicked it out of his hands was ridiculous - he should have been down on the floor making the ball safe rather than trying to pick it up on the fly.

Tansey had his worst game in an FC shirt last night for me. Everyones allowed them though, he's been outstanding this season.

Totally different kind of full back to any of those because we use him as a ball handling pivot. The first two youve named are more traditional type of full backs.

Tansey has been at the centre of pretty much everything we've done good this season and looks a great prospect imo. Some people seem to just want him to do a Prekkie and run it back elusively every time he receives a kick at pace, thats not Tanseys game he has other qualities.

I am a fan of Tansey, give me an exciting full back over a "safe" one any day. However, on the whole he was poor last night, it seems like he thinks he has to try the master play all the time with Long missing. If he just gets back to his normal game and comes into the line like he does so well then I still think he can be a very good signing. He still made us a try out of nothing though and created a few half chances.
