Why would Leeds loan us their players enabling us to strenghten our injury hit positions, increase our chances of winning a game or two, and therefore gain more points on the league ladder ??

Unless of course they don't consider us to be anywhere near good enough to challenge them in the SL table !!!

When loaning out youngsters, you don't see it as strengthening opponents. It's to give experience to one of most promising players for the future, as we have Buderus and Diskin. Sitting in the reserves for the year will do him no good, so getting game time this year means he should be ready to replace Buderus if he leaves next year.

But you could of course send him to a team that is going to be towrds the botoom of the SL table. Cas, Salford, Quins, Dobbins etc..

As far as I know, they do not require a spare hooker. Whereas you obviously do.

Doubt it but i remember Scruton once playing v Leeds for us and scoring a try. When he smiled he had his Leeds gumshield in.

what i'm saying is why is it ALWAYS Leeds? why don't we have a look at any other clubs?

Its not to far for the youngsters to travel, can probably get lifts with the West Yorkshire lads, were as if their coming from Lancashire its a longer journey and probably by there self.

why not?

Few reasons why imo:
1. Commutable location
2. One of the best junior set ups in the country
3. Good relationships mean quicker (and maybe more flexible) deals

What would be the point in looking at clubs for loan players that done meet the above criteria?

tbf if you choose teams to take loanees off then usually it would be the champions you would look at first. He's not just a reserve either seems well embedded in their first team squad. And if we have no money free on the cap then Kath uses payment in kind everyone's a winner.
