Is Robinson available?
I wondered if the Danny Brough signing had anything to do with the 5 Hudds players arrested pre-season. I am not suggesting Luke Robinson is involved but perhaps Hudds know they are going to lose someone and covered the situation.

No. And I can't see us wanting (or being able) to buy him out of a shiny new 3 year contract.

Robinson signed a two year extension a month or so ago, think he's still firmly in Browns plans.

Met him outside of Millennium stadium when we won the cup - thought he was a top bloke, but not what I think Hull FC need or are looking for.

Agar is not a fan of his, so no I don't we'll sign him and to add to that, he's signed a new deal recently. However, I think he would be a good signing as a cover half or hooker.

Not a bad little player who likes to take on the line, but we should be aiming higher than Robinson if we want to be challenging.

its about availability at this time of the season though

2 factors should dictate whether we need to look at a scrum half
1. how long longy is going to be out for
2. how well we do in next 2 or 3 games - we don't want to throw away our decent start to the season

I remember seeing him outside Millennium Stadium near a few bars also, with Karl Fitzpatrick at the time who was absolutely leathered and Karl Harrison wasn't amused when i spoke to him.

Depending on the severity of Longs injury , I'd definitely look at the option of a loan deal " if " Hudds were to allow it.
