Shortly after he'd been injured HKR knocked on, a fit Briscoe would've scooped the ball and made it to the other end of the pitch. As it was he was struggling to bend, hence why I initially thought it was a rib injury, the fact that it was his hip would also prevent him bending with any degree of mobility.

I'm normally fairly supportive of Yeamo but cant help thinking if he'd thrown an early ball to Briscoe he may have been able to muscle his way over. The sliding defence was there but you've got to give a winger a chance havent you?

Yeamo was probably still pi$$ed off that Briscoe scored our opener, playing like a proper centre

I saw it, same old Yeamo every match always backs himself rather than passing it, no wonder Tom goes walkabout probably hunting a pass from someone else. Try Tom in the centre and Yeamo at second row too greedy for centre but can sure tackle.

When did he last put his winger away?

Unlike Hall & Briscoe, Yeaman is as much a centre as Keith Senior. Basically he's a bit faster than a 2nd row but not quite as strong. For far too long now the British game has been reliant on brute strangth in the centre positions, rather than skilful and intelligent play

Pass and Yeaman have never been mentioned in the same sentence.....except if its preceded by 'should have'
