Not to be pessimistic but Rovers' attack on the line was awful.

Our defence was very solid but TBH Rovers were poor in attack and didnt put us under much pressure i think today proves how much Rovers are/will miss Cooke.

Well I thought we still have much to do particulaly with retaining the ball in our own half but our defence was awesome in the second half and you could not fault our passion. Its also a fact that if we had played with that intensity we would still have lost at Wigan but won at Crusaders and salford! It was a real 'they shall not pass display!' and who cares I always thought two points from this weekend would do and I always knew where I would have prefared it to come from!

Our defence was very good indeed. Our discipline, ball control and overall attacking play was not quite so good.

My main worry was our lads trying to offload in our own half, and when we are struggling to retain possession anyway, should we really risk it, or just try and pin them down in there own half and hope to force an error rather than gift them possession.

The passed 2 seasons we would have lost games like this ..Rover had enough ball to win the game they didn't the Hull pack kept them out ..So fans from Rovers are saying IF Cooke had played they would have won ..I say that Bollocks In saying that If Cooke hadn't gone to Rovers ..Rovers wouldn't have won any games against Hull All we hear on Radio Humberside is why Rovers lost not that Hull WON Hulls tries came from reffing out (A Rovers fan )But he wouldn't listen when he was told one of Rovers try came from a ball reffed out of R Horne's hands .. If Hull had the same possession has Rovers We would have won by a Cricket score.. But I am thankful for a scrappy win and I have got a on my face

We spilled enough ball to get beat by 30 today and should be an area of concern for the coaches as it's not the first time this season . We just can't throw away that much possession and expect our defence to hold out. The goal line defence was superb but we can not put ourselves under that much pressure again.

Agreed but another concern is the stupid penalties we gave away in the second half close to our line, Longy was lucky he didn't get a 10 minute rest.
