| what does Dowes have to do to get dropped? when did he last break a tackle?
I appreciate we have to use the full squad this weekend, but surely you start by picking your strongest, in-form side on the friday, then assess the injuries and the performance and choose the side for monday based on that?
there are far too many 'guaranteed starters' at the club IMO

Agree, yet Agar is protected and gets away with it including a new deal thrown in for good measure.
He must be cheap thats all i'll say.

| I'd play Moa is both games and would have rested Dowes for this game (think radford might up his game this week against Rovers) and Radford on Monday.
Moa could manage both game as he only plays about 20 minutes anyway.

The fact he cannot play as many minutes as the other props at present goes against him and rightly so.'"
He can do the minutes, but Agar descides to only play him for 15 minute stints.
As mentioned on here already, what the foooook does Dowes need to do to get dropped? He is w@nk pure and simple!

| Just shows that Agar as a head coach is very lacking as he has wasted a quota spot by having Moa sat in the stands for 75% of the games so far. I'm sorry but having Radford, Dowes and Cusack who are all just workhorses with no impact in the role means we have no impact in that department other than O'Meley.
This for me is another sad reflection on Agar as a coach and looks like its going to be another season of dross and poor rugby.

I wish, it now looks like 2 and half seasons.

completely agree with all of the above. we have zero go forward once o meley goes off after his first stint and bringing on dowes and cusack hardly brings impact does it?
for me radford has been the worst prop (even including Moa's short stints) all season bar one game
he breaks the line just as much (or little) as cusack and dowes but cusack always finds a quick PTB and dowes at least finds his front sometimes. with radford the amount of penalties he gives away is unacceptable and he always gets put on his back due to the fact he turns in the tackle just to make a few extra yards but this allows opposing teams an easy slow PTB.
If Agar insists on playing cusack, dowes and radford O Meley should start from the bench so we have some impact in the prop department. If it were me i would have O Meley and Cusack starting with Dowes and Moa on the bench.

Life's nothing if not predictable at Hull FC these days.

That's life isn't it. Sadly for Agar he is pleasing fewer and fewer people most of the time.

I suppose those who have no faith will have to grin and bear it or not go anymore. Those of us who are prepared to wait a bit longer might be proved right that it is too early to judge.
Either way, it will only get better..... or worse... or stay the same...

[quote="Wellsy13":1juz9zgo]To us REAL fans, there's no better feeling than winning competitions. Getting to a final is next. Then a top 6 finish or semi-final appearance. Then I suppose the derby counts as the most important league fixture.
Us real fans don't look over our shoulder at our neighbours and do whatever we can to get one over on them. We look at the bigger picture. And this is the reason why Rovers are and will forever be considered a small club. Because their fans and board would rather get one over on Hull FC above anything else.
Quite sad, really! [/quote:1juz9zgo]
SPOT ON!

| It could be argued that our impact comes from in the second row with Hame, Manu and Tickle? I think when Radford, Dowes, Yak and O'Meley play our team has a better balance hence wins against Saints away, Hudds at home and Bradford at home.
