| Sheldon - "The only problem is tactics and the use of the bench".
That's a pretty sizeable problem. Tactics and a general lack of coaching seem to me our biggest problem. Once again last saturday (just as i wrote after Celtic) there is no sign of any 'coaching'. Is our new no. 2 not having any inpout at all on the playing field, certainly appears that way. You would think with Long there now, at least the line would be deeper, we have the flatest line of attack in SL.
We can win on Friday but I feel it will come down to some individual brilliance or a bit of luck. We're owed a bit of luck after the last derby there.

| If Horne plays it will make a big difference, the occasion should not be lost on Fitzgibbon, O'Meley or Long.
ALL of the senior players need to give the fans the game they deserve, the turn-around to Monday is a concern as well.

| Its a massive Easter no doubt, potential 4 points to keep us in the leading pack. I'm going for us to bannish our away day blues at Caravan Park and then follow it up with a win at home on Monday. ( No I'm not deluded ) !!

Two wins, one win one loss or two losses don't bother me so much as the performance we put in, we have only been beaten by a better side once, the Crusaders and Salford losses were down to attitude and application.

Disagreed
Of course performance is important and more often than not will determine outcome. However in a Derby only the result is important. Against Wire a poor performance will not lead to victory for sure.
I do agree with your last point the attitude in those two games was poor and that is a direct responsibility of Agar. Trotting out the same press conference tripe each time it happened is not acceptable it is actions and not words that count.

| Hull's best chance will come if Rovers channel everything through Dobson, if so they will be very predictable and defending thier line should be a doddle. For Rovers sake I hope I'Anson plays as he offer something different and will give them an extra option in attack which they are lacking at the moment big time.
That said and all things being equal, if both teams play anything like then i see a tight game going Hull's way.

I could work the other way also . The predictability and slowness of our attack and a heavy pitch should be easy for Rovers to mop up.

| I actually think (as an HKR fan) that Hull's pack will eventually get on top which will see them win by about 12 points. The size of their forwards compared to ours is vast and although we can move the ball to the wings quickly, we have one of the worst offensive records in SL this year, so don't see us scoring too many points.
Having watched Hull's game on Saturday night, I think it's a must to attack Long and hope it's enough to subdue him.

We won't play like that again. We went into those games with a bad attitude, that won't be the case this time.

| As other posters have said it will all boil down to who wants it more.
We need our big name players to lead from the front. I hope someone has impressed on Fitz and Ogre how much this game matters to the fans. I'm sure Longy understands.
If anything I think losing to Salford may help us more than if we had beaten them unconvincingly because we may get a better reaction from the players.
I also think if we beat Rovers we have a better chance of beating Wire on the Monday but if we lose to Rovers it will be zero points over Easter.

| I think offloading the ball will be crucial for Hull and it will be the thing that either wins or loses them the game. We struggle with teams that offload and when it works FC do it pretty well. Wrapping man and ball will be vital if rovers are to win. Once games get unpredictable, i.e a pass goes to ground we lose shape and a potentially poor pass opens us up.
As for you having the flattest attacking line in the game, have you seen ours!!!!
Still think it'll be close but if i was to bet it would be for fc to finally get their 7th and 8th easy point since HKR were promoted.
