I presume that the people calling for players to be dropped actually saw the game?

Quote: Staffs FC "That's right I'm sure Horne and Washy will then instantly become the halves everyone in the league will enviously look upon as the best in the business.'"

Are you drunk ? Are you saying that Brian Smith didn't turn an absolute average team into the best in the League within 18 months ??
Great managers turn average to good , good to great and great to pheanominal !!!!! If you think Des Hasler was in charge of Hull last season would we have finished bottom ? Or even if Morgan was in charge ?
Agar showed his true colours last season I am afraid.
If you don't think coaches make a difference then why sack Sharp ? Why get rid of Bomber (what has he done since ?)
If we listen to you then we might as well get Steve Crooks in charge

I've always been a fan of Rich Whiting, but it sounds like he had a mare today. With the competition for places its up to the players to keep their shirts, and on the back of today I think its only fair Turner gets a shot at centre next week.

but whiting has had service but just dosent have quality in attack . whiting deserved to play becasue his performances have been good but we need more speed and quality in that position turner or hall for me.

Guess you don't really understand the game then do you?

Yak never has and never will be an impact player. He does 'his' job really well he's a good solid player.
Whiting has no class in attack? Seemed to do pretty well last week in putting Hally away down the wing.

Quote: berrigans bitch "Well for starters not Horney, I would try Turner (or maybe use Tansey at a push, with Whiting covering f/back and either Hall or Turner moved to centre providing Calders back.

Hopefully Calderwood will be fit to replace Hall on the wing, as Calders is a specialist winger.'"

That was my thoughts. If Calderwood is fit, then Hall to centre.

Horne and Washy don't work, that is why I was not shocked.
Getting down the field has hardly ever been a problem, but getting organised and over the line has.

I would (if Long is out) go for Turner & Tansey, with Whiting at FB.
If Tickle is still out then Fitzy to second row, and Washy to LF

Whiting has played great in the last two games - when we had a halfback in the side. He might have not done as well today, but then, who did? To scapegoat Whiting on the basis of one poor team peformance is stupid.

Proves that as soon as we lose our only quality half back, we go back to s h i t.

exactly cusack does his job and is a solid workhorse but weve got that in dowes, radders and fitzy so why another one. we dont need 4 workhorses, the balance in the pack needs another impact player and thats why we signed moa on a 2 year contract.
