| Will prove to be the best signing agar made of the years. Excellent positional play and joins in the attacks well. Not seen him have anything apart from an excellent game since coming to us. MR COSISTENT.
got to be Englands choice at fullback for the next four nations. Wellens showed he is not worthy after the diabolicle 2008 wc so all JT s competition boils down to is that bent nose shaun chap who now wears a red shirt with a white bib on it down the road who is proven to be to kamikazi then tactically sound (injured yet again last night) great

| His one on one with Robinson was first class. As a fullback with 2+ men running at you with ball in hand, there is only so much you can do in that position. The press have reported that Robinson bummed the opportunity but I think Tansey did enough to fool Robinson into thinking he was going for the support player then at last second made himself as big as possible (much like goalkeeper's do in football) and surged towards the ball carrier cutting down his decision making and execution time.
Also what a nice feeling it is not to be bricking it when the opposition put a high kick up. Even nicer feeling I imagine if your one of the other 12 players who have just defended a set.

44592_1267285924.jpg With typical under-statement, Saints coach Mick Potter said: "Sean Long didn't surprise me. We all know how good he is and he should be happy with the way he went." That could be translated as, "damn him, damn, damn him, the little ...":d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_44592.jpg |

| Given the opportunity, would you have briscoe back in the fold? I personally wouldn't swap Tansey for anyone. Ability, bags of potential and a dressing room character to boot!I think we have big things to come from this kid!

| Thought behind Fitzgibbon he was our best player at the weekend, took the ball in well and looks dangerous everytime he has space, and his positional play is Fantastic
If he carrys it on for the full season he might not be far off a International shirt

| Biggest plus for me was the way he was constantly on the shoulder of the ball carrier. If our forwards start offloading the ball in the tackle a bit more he will score plenty of trys.
