City wont get 1 0f the grounds as the other clubs all ready have plans for upgrades and are way ahead of us as a city as well......1 of the hotel chains in our area has just gone t1ts up and the transport system ios terrible and fwiw...i couldnt give a flying one about the world cup being here as the normal bloke on the street will be simply priced out.

The reputation, past and present of the Tiggers fans will stop this. Even the cages they built to shepherd them from away fans didn't work.

This country is fooked enough without blowing billions more on a World Cup we have no chance of winning. It's bad enough paying for an Olympics just so we can win a couple of medals on a bike. How much is it costing? £12bn? I'd sooner the money went on our shafted NHS and helping companies through a recession. Possibly helping grass-roots sports too.
