Decent draw for us, had no intention of going so don't really give a sh[ii[/it about the general mediocrity of the fixtures although admittedly the RFL probably did have to scrap the derbys procedure if it's trying to dispel of the heartlandish image that RL has.

Whilst there are no traditional standout fixtures I think there are a few potentially good games in there.
Wigan v Hudds
Saints v Rovers
Cas v Catalans
could all be potentially good games.
To be honest give the unpredictability over how good teams are going be next year I think we'll have a better idea of how awful/good the draw is a few rounds into the season. |

Hull v Quins is usually a right bore-a-thon. Anyone remember that game at the KC a couple of years ago - snow on the ground? Worst second half to a game I can remember for tedium - only the shivering kept me awake.

Agree derbies should be the way forward but its definately still worth going. Cracking weekend with thousands of rugby fans decending on Edinburgh. |
