Shocking news. Ronnie was a hero of mine as a lad, played hard, fought hard and put his body on the line.

Ronnie was an all time favourite of mine. I remember as a young teen running onto the pitch (with thousands of others) after the BBC2 floodlit trophy and Ronnie handed me his boot lace. (I didnt know what to do with it and threw it away later) but many happy days followed that. RIP Ronnie.

He has always been a favourite of mine and great company off the field, I miss those night with him and his brother entaining everyone post match with their stories.
