Saw them supporting Morrissey at the MEN in 04 and they were really good. Then they became media darlings and Kapranos started writing columns of pretentious arty in the Grauniad that were shoo ins for Pseud's Corner. I gave up shortly after.

Seen the Damned a couple of times, most memorably at a pub with maybe 200 people and a stage barely big enough to fit the band on. Motorhead are one of the bands I've always promised myself I'll go and see one day.
