Last night James Rule mentioned Kearney as an FC legend, not once but twice. Then today he is touted for the job at Souths as he has now "served his apprenticeship as an assistant" in the NRL, then Motu says he's the best player he played with at FC. How great would it be if this was a meaningful coincidence and he was coming to FC as DOR? On the other hand maybe the universe is trying to tell me to get out more and stop hallucinating. Off season fever already, I think

Funny I have been having similar experiences. I was swimming the other day and went out of my depth in the deep end, then I found myself struggling with the context of the words "us" and "our", then somebody offered me a job I am not qualified for.
No doubt this is a sign that Agar is staying. |

Kearney has ruled himself out of the running if Taylor is axed, while fellow Melbourne assistant Michael Maguire is believed to be close to signing with Wigan in the UK.
"Regardless of the current circumstances at South Sydney, I want to make it clear that I am not interested in any job that may or may not become available at the club,'' Kearney said.
"I am committed to Melbourne Storm at least until the end of 2010 and that, along with the New Zealand coaching role, is where I will focus all my energies.''
Ah well. Just another year to wait, then.
