Very fair and balanced point mate.
Hull had fairly good seasons (IIRC) from 2000-2002, but the jump from 5000-6000 to 10,000 came with the KC move.
Without doubt if Rovers moved more to the Holderness Road heartland it would add more support (believe it or not there's still people out there who won't go to the current CP), or even just a new South Stand close to the pitch would probably help (+ there's the second East Stand extension still to be done).

We're averaging a similar number to what we were in the early 80's at the antiquated Boulevard. Crowds in SL are up across the board compared to 10 years ago so I don't think the KC is the major factor. The dobbins are enjoying their best year in a generation. I doubt there are many of their fans who aren't attending games right now

Code for average attendances being lower year on year (2008: 8,554, 2009: 8,527). South stand empty and North Stand less than half full at the weekend for a game against the CC winners on a sunny evening when you're sat in 3rd. No wonder extension plans aren't being rushed through.
At least we have an excuse for falling gates in that we're rubbish on the pitch. What's yours?

| Quote: Roofs "- Recession
- Poor facilities at two of the four ends of the ground (East and West were both full you may have noticed).
- Sudden decision by Sky to televise it meant many people couldn't get there (myself inc - had to miss first home game in 5 years)
- Wire bringing a poor number (by their standards), presumably because a lot of fans were spent up after Wembley
That do ya hun.
You've not sold out a game in the regular rounds despite being in the top 4 since round 11. Do you really think that Hudgell will have budgeted for no growth in attendances and a less than sellout derby?

LMFAO.
No matter how many years you finish above us, we'll always be the bigger club.
