| I dont think Huddersfield had the same amount of injuries as we have had whilst Ben Cooper was their conditioner.
We had a long list of injuries under Paul Hatton, I would think that conditioners share their skills and knowledge between themselves pretty much as coaches do, it's called enhancing their knowledge for the good of the game.
Billy Mallinson took the brunt of the blame for being 'under cooked'.
I cannot understand people blaming conditioners for our injuries, it's the nature of the beast in a violent contact sport, schitt happens.

No he didn't. Mallo left two years ago, we only got Cooper this year.
Two years of bad injuries under two completely different conditioners. Kinda blows that theory out of the water, don't you think?

So you think two years of massive injury crisis are completely down to luck? I'm not saying it's all one persons fault and I'm sure misfortune does play a part, I'm just saying that if the club aren't trying to identify contributing factors to this problem and resolve them then they aren't doing their jobs properly.

That could all well be down to the application of the players involved, how many times do players pull up during a game with muscle strains etc, when they have all had the same warm up session pre-game.
Broken bones you cannot account for ask Brisco/Radford/King/Whiting and many more.
It's not all down to the conditioner.
And didn't Jason Smith criticize our Physio on his return to Oz thinking that he was all washed up as a player due to his injuries.

| We actually had one absolutely horrendous year with injuries when Billy Mallinson was conditioner - under McRae 2003 I think. We probably had half a dozen loan players in at one stage and Raynor even made a guest appearance while still at Rugby Union!
I remember at the time people (like Bighead!) saying it must be because we've appointed Mallinson as conditioner.
Of course Mallinson is now at Rovers who hardly have any injuries at all!

I'm perfectly calm. I hadn't read your correction when I posted.
The second part wasn't aimed at you anyway, it just happened to be a convenient place to make the point.

| If the players where having recurring injuries of the same problem then you could possibly aim it at the physio as far as I am aware apart from being the busiest member of staff on the payroll most have not been recurring.
Also not sure he was here when Jason Smith was here, though time does fly so he might have been.
He was up for renewal same time as Mallo so maybe he was, but most players have nothing but praise for him.
