We were talking about Calderwood during the game and I said then that I thought he'd been one of out best players this year and in my opinion the club should seriously look at sitting down with him and extending his contract.

He's only 27, has bags of top level experience and he's English. With Raynor coming to the end of his career we should be looking at securing his services on a longer deal now rather than waiting until the end of next season when he's attracted the interest of other big clubs.

Good shout. Since we're using up the quota on the pack, makes sense to sign up a proven British winger.

And to think most people knocked him on here when we annouced we was interested, thats a few months before he even signed.
One the best marker defences for someone his size and still one of the fastest around which should be utilised more.
Give him a 4 or 5 year deal because hes the type of player doesn't need to play for a new contract, hes the type who enjoys his rugby and will go out and give 100% no matter what.
