It was a good Minehead side though undefeated at Under 13's, Hull League Winners, yorkshire and national cup winners also. Played against some good teams with decent players. Jamie Peacock played against Minehead in the quater finals of the Yorkshire cup that year.
Rymer was a quality player/person to have in the team.

| Quote: HFC8280 "Third player in at the back on the left is Paul Parker scored the last try at the Boulevard.
Richard Kemp next to him on the right, Karl Rymer next to him in the centre at the back.
Captain is Chris Windass (Toffer) still the best young talent I have ever seen in this city, another who didnt make it!
Next to him on the left is Sam Alexander who was a hooker and was wanted by Leeds, Hull, Bradford and various other big clubs but went away from Rugby I think to become a teacher.
Next to Toffer is Gareth Dusher whose Brother is Tommy Dusher who signed for Halifax and there older brother played for Warrington.
This picture is the Humberside Under 13's I think and all these players will be 30 or 31 now.'"
Kempy and Rymer up front was pretty strong. Didnt Toffer play for Cas a handful of times?
Pretty sure Sam Alexander gave up the game cos his dad was a science teacher at marvell and put a fair bit of pressure on him. Might be wrong though.

| Yeah they where very strong along with Mark Seaton. Toffer got moved around a few times and yes was at Castleford and I think Sheffield. He ended up playing RU for Ionians for a while as well. I still find it unbelievable that he never made it big at the pros never seen a talent like him since.
Sam was a really top player and you are right his Dad was a teacher at Marvell and was always under pressure by him to get an education as he said playing pro rugby was never going to be an option for him. I reckon he was wrong and could of made it pro.
