When subscribing to the Setanta sports pack, Setanta Ireland came as a bit of an unadvertised add on. I could watch 99% of their programming and infact the channel was only ever encrypted when they were showing Premier league football (they had a sat afternoon match at 3.00pm each week) and F1, because they did not have the uk rights.
Alot of their programms were aired at the same time that setanta 1 were showing them, which would have also been the case for SOO tomorrow. Because Setanta had the UK rights to broadcast tomorrows game I see no reason why we should not get it, unless the administrators pull the plug on all UK customers recieving Setanta Ireland, as we effectivly no longer pay a subscription. |

just spoke to sky business they have confirmed that today's Origin game on setanta ireland will be available to view by anybody who holds a subscription to setanta UK 
so that's New Clarence definitely open from 1030am for the game
hope to see you all for some good rugby, breakfast + beer

Telstra Bigpond has come to the aid of English Rugby League fans who were in danger of missing out on tonight’s Harvey Norman State of Origin match at ANZ Stadium.
International rights holder Setanta announced overnight that it has ceased transmission in England, Wales and Scotland leaving fans without access to live coverage.
Negotiations with Telstra Bigpond today have ensured that those fans will have online access to the match live at no charge.
English, Welsh and Scottish fans can log in via bigpondtv.com/leaguetv .
Fans from all other countries will not be able to access live Harvey Norman State of Origin video streaming and will see the match on the usual 24-hour-delay.
“The usual international charges will be waived in England, Scotland and Wales to provide live coverage,” ARL Chief Executive Mr Geoff Carr said today.
“Obviously there are lot of fans over there, not to mention a lot of Australian players who would hate to miss the match.
“Certainly we appreciate Telstra’s help at short notice and we’ll be looking at the longer term implications in the days ahead.”
Setanta holds international rights across the UK, Canada and the US and will continue to telecast the match in all markets except England, Wales and Scotland.
The NRL Partnership will continue to closely monitor the on-going progress of Setanta’s Operations.
