| Sharp knew how poor Thorman was whilst at Huddersfield, why then did he recommend him to Agar?
Thorman would struggle to get into some Championship sides.

| Watching the match yesterday as someone pointed out on twitter, it did seem that Thorman was being isolated from the play somewhat as the 1st half progressed.
As I have seen him, he has always had "an issue" or two and last nights display underlines what we all think. Listening to Agar's interview on KCFM I think he went as far as he could without COMPLETELY undermining the whole squad.
There was most definitely a lack of passion, creativity and leadership which manifest itself in what can only be described as a " poor".
Another common phrase used last night @ The Lincoln Arms in Bev was "our season is over".
Well, it CAN get worse but at some point, it's gotta turn round, surely......

If the try he let Webb score wasn't bad enough the chip over the top and shocking attempt at tackling for Abletts right on half time really was the killer for the rest of the team after the effort to get back in the game just before halftime, we never recovered from those mistakes.

He missed Donald as well on the Leeds line after a good attack and kick from us and that lead to another try. It's not just the miss either , it's the fact that he just has no intention of tackling , it's just a token hand on the shoulder before being brushed off.

How the hell can he sit in the post match video session and justify those "tackles" to his team mates ?

It killed us and the game.
It's the little things that annoy me, Leeds constantly got quick ptb's as there players fought to get off the floor. Our players seem to enjoy the rest on the floor and make no effort to get up. Leeds were not much more creative than us but due the speed of the ptb they constantly got our defence on the back foot and made easy yards.
It really needs addressing, it should be drummed into players at training aswell as attacking angled runs.
WTF do RA and JS do in training?

The thing is Chris I am not and never will be a RL coach but if I and other fans can see where we are going wrong and that is needs working on then why can't the poeple in the job see it?

You're not the only one though Paul. I can see it too and the people me and Mrs28 were talking to on the way out last night could as well.
I honestly don't know why those inside the club are giving the impression that nothing is wrong. 10000 people could see it the other Saturday, 15000 could see it last night, but the powers that be have their heads in the sand. I just wish they'd listen to the overwhelming feeling of the fans

I have brought this up in another thread, what do they do? We don't seem to have any set plays, or players running the channels. What you mentioned about the PTB and us not struggling to get up has been something that has gone on for yonks, I really think we're the only team that doesn't do it! Why aren't these things addressed?

Because we have a 1st team coach who has been an assistant to two coaches who couldn't see / sort the problem out....Agar is no different....clean sweep of the coaching set up from top to bottom for me is the only way we will address these issues.

As Agar would say "I wouldn't disagree with that"
After watching the game again on tv last night Eddie & Stevo were saying how well Leeds played? For me I don't think they played that well they were just more clynical than us and got the basics right which we don't. Leeds for me were definately beatable last night had we shown some desire, fight and had a little bit of nouse about our play.
Dummy runners, angle runs either side of the ball carrier and players actually gettiung up in support of the ball carrier would be a good start and something that they it would appear do very little of in training.
