I think not !
Fair play to Rovers though . Good recruitment , passionate Board . Young up and coming Coach .
Where as we just bumble along from one disaster to another.

I remember having a conversation in the pub a couple of years ago with some mates who are Rovers fans and the question was posed - Which of the Hull KR players would improve the Hull FC team? At the time we all agreed there weren't many, Compare that to now and you'd have to take.....Morgan, Briscoe, Fox, Webster, Whelam, Fitzhenry, Cookie, Dobson, Vella, Newton, Gallea, Murrell.......

My opinion is that Rovers will struggle more when the homegrown players requirement increases to 8 and the quota drops to 5. For all that Whelam is a good player, they're not bringing 2 homegrown players a season through to play regularly. They're also £2.4m in debt and can't finance ground extensions for either home or away fans. An inconvenient truth for those who like to label off the field management as irrelevant detail, perhaps.
BUT for now they've been canny to work the current quota system to its limits and their run of form reminds me of us in 2006. In the Cup, Morgan took Toulouse to the Semi Final for goodness sake, so you have to fancy Rovers to get to Wembley unless they get Saints in the semi. No point in predicting it's all going to go wrong for them as there's no evidence to suggest it will. In the short term.'"

If you are that much obssesed with them...go and support them...it is only may ffs and they have got off to a flyer...they will hit a slump...everybody does...i like to see what happens after 28 rounds myself.

I disagree that it's a [ifar[/i more capable squad. What they do have is a much better hallfback combo and possibly a more balanced mix of players. And far fewer injuries/missing players as well.
I completely agree about the coach. Consistency has been the key to their success IMO.
