Of course many on here say that he is not biased and I guess on that some would think that the jury is still out, but I ask you this question and it is only for folks who like me have listened to the last hour on Radio Humberside, Burns has said, I am depressed, 3 times wallowed in his depression through out the hour and this is for me very commendable and shows a local Radio sports Editor cares really about the teams in his area, or does he???
Can you honestly say that he would be that depressed and suicidal if it were say Hull FC or Shorpe United going down, I can't! We would be toast, or to think that we could stay up would be Crass! On here now we have Rovers supporters overtly defending him because, they like what he says, Why? Well of course because it is biased against us!
I see that Phil Brown has got the measure of him too and continues to avoid him!!

I think that is unfair.
A coach who is always in the media is better for a club than one who nobody has heard of outside the game.
If a club appointed Ellery Hanley now it would raise interest from all sorts of meffs who watched Dancing on dog dirt or whatever it was.
You can never have too much media time
