Motto of the week - It is the way of the weak to secretly bleat to those in authority rather than fight their own battles.:27608.jpg

So the marker who wasn't square is allowed to interfere with the player playing the ball???

Supopse it depends on which coloured specs you are looking at it through icon_lol.gif icon_lol.gif

I suppose the only opinion that counts is the refs and the only people i see agreeing with him are Hull fans. Wonder if they would have so readily accepted the decision had it been the other way round?? icon_wink.gif

Either way the decision was pivotal to the result IMO.

It's an old saying win some lose some and other elements were missed such as the foot over the dead ball line, stripping the ball given as a knock on a couple of times, forward passes in a run up to a couple of tries.

As with our recent cup defeat you can't blame one action on losing a game, we played poor and lucky for us Cas weren't much better

I thought once we cut out our errors we looked the better side, we actually tried to play a bit of rugby yesterday, bet we offloaded more in the game than the whole season put together.

We got a couple of 50/50, but a couple also went against us, it's just that we took advantage of those decisions while Cas didnt.

Though we looked a lot quicker when Houghton came on, his best game for ages, looked like he was playing last season.

Thought the forwards won the battle in the 2nd half.

We are slowly learning how to use Calderwood, who was excellent again and proving many people including me wrong

Washbrook also played very well.

Not a perfect display but I saw some encouraging signs.

With Tony and Raynor maybe back for the next game, things are looking slightly better for us.

Quote: Tarquin Fuego "What does Thorman do ? His kicks were down FBs throat on their 20m , the kicks in goal on the last were in the air and easy to catch.
Just don't rate his work ethic and when will we ever kick a ball into touch from a penalty more than 15m down the pitch.'"

Thorman was absolutely woeful yesterday, we won in spite of him. In fact the less involved he was in anything we tried the more successful was the outcome. He should be dropped IMO as he offers nothing at all.

Thought he started out marginally better than in recent weeks, then went right back to being generally poor. All the creativity yesterday came from Washy, Lee, and Rich Horne.

HULL KINGSTON ROVERS is my religion, Craven Park is my church and Jordan Abdull is my God:

Quote: Kosh "Yeah - a bang on the head.

Anyone who thinks that the ref had a significant impact on the result needs their bumps felt.

Or is that well-known whiner Terry Matterson.'"

Of course he did, A ridiculous penalty in the closing stages and not to mention the fact that your first try had a blatant knock on in the build up that he didn't even bother to refer to the VR

All existing and generally known ways to immortality can be divided into four catagories. The way of the Fakir. The way of the Monk. The way of the Yogi. The most honourable being 'The way of the FC' Sebasteeno = CLUELESS:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_14059.jpg

I don't agree with starting Thackray, it's been proved that we are tougher to break down with Cusack and Dowes starting.

There were 15 minutes or so left when he gave that penalty, and we scored a try in that time. Hardly the deciding factor.

There were dodgy decisions in both directions. Fairly typical of the standard of refereeing IMO.

It was a close game, and over the 80 minutes we were the better side.

Simplez.

We saw some encouraging signs that things might just be starting to come together.

Washy had his best game for a long while.
Danny H looks like he is learning from Berro and starting to know how to control a game.
Rich Horne looks very comfortable at FB
Whiting and Calders look like they may well be gelling.

Still concerned about G Horne and Yeaman's wing as it looks like a very weak link.

Radders and Thorman for me still not performing to the expected standard and would be the first two to miss out if we every have an injury free run.

At the end of the day a win is a win. We are playing poorly yet are just 4 points off top place. That has to be encouraging. We are far from a championship winning side, but thankfully the rest of the league is equally poor. A bit of confidence will work wonders as with a break during cup weekends.

Maybe just maybe the glass is half full not half empty.

A good display considering we hardly had the ball for the first 20 mins and compounded that by making silly errors. Second half we controlled the ball better and made good yards from acting half through both Lee and Houghton. Only thing that was a real worry was the one up defence when we tried to grab shoulders and not legs.

If so,why do it?
Win some, lose some,if it wasn`t for a ridiculous refereeing decision,we would still be in the cup.
