| Quote: Big Dave T "Agree, but Yeamo is getting some un needed stick here IMO. He has started the season a lot better that some think, he tops our clean breaks etc.
G Horne has had one good game and 2 OK games IMO. Just enough to hold onto the shirt currently.'"
All sick is unneeded.
A bit like the stick G Horne gets on here
The difference is G Horne has rolled his sleeves up and improved where as we have seen yeaman play better.
So far this season he has looked more likely to create or make a clean break in comparision to Yeaman who seems (on this seasons evidence) to have little more in the locker than head down and run straight into the tackle.
Someone said on this thread that he is a proven international. just because he has played for GB doesn't automatically mean he is a proven. There are only 2 genuinely proven international GB centres at the moment and they are Senior and Gleeson. These two either have a sidestep or a hand off, something Yeaman needs to develop IF he wants to become a proven international player.
On this season form, Horne has been better so far, imo.

I do apologise, I got my terminology mixed up.
Tackle busts is what I was really thinking about. Briscoe LOOKS like he copuld get through the first tackler virtually every time he has the ball. Yeaman appears just to run straight into them.
Bloody Stats - You must be an accountant!

Sorry Dave but according to these stats Graeme is comfortably outperforming Yeamo, I don't want anyone to think I don't rate Yeamo though, I do!

Do they?
1 assist each
Meters and carries almost the same
Horne more tackles
yeamo more runs from DH
Horne more busts, yeamo more clean breaks
horne more errors.
Was basing it mainly on clean breaks but disagree they make horne look better.

| never rated him before, but now can see that he is a valuable squad player. In an ideal world we'd have about 30 world class stars to choose from, but the salary cap means we need 'cheap' squad players like G Horne. I also don't think he's has been that bad at centre either.

This is not a criticism, but if there is a gap in the defensive line, I would have thought anyone could make a clean break. Busting a tackle means you are getting away from the defender. Imo thats worth more from an individual point of view

| He is a decent enough squad player however he is not good enough to be a starting centre in SL IMO.
Last season he stood out due to how bad we were and how low peoples expectations were of him are.
I personally think this season he has been pretty average and once Raynor is back i would like to see Briscoe get his centre spot.

Agree with all of that.

| If we had to lose on of Briscoe G Horne or Craig Hall then I'd choose Horne every time.
