There is also Reebok aswell. They do Melbourne, Manly shirts and I would imagine that they do other NRL clubs also. Not sure if they would consider SL clubs though.

I would imagine that the board will go with who puts the best offer on the table etc. The designs of the shirts will be the last thing they think about imo. But then again they've got to be good otherwise they wont sell.

Thats because Nike 'OWN' Umbro but have left the company 100% untouched.
No redundancies were made.

They are in effect exactly the same company, just with a hefty helping hand from Nike!

Thus, why the designs are still pants!

Have you not heard the trouble Sheffield had and have you never seen a Kukri shirt?

Canterbury and Puma are by far the two best suppliers who may be interested in bidding for Hull FC but dont rule out Steeden who were only denied Harlequins this year because of a board member taking it upon himself to do another deal even though they had agreed a deal. An upcoming brand with an already massive foothold in World Rugby League because of the Balls and equipment deals they have.

If I was a Hull fan I would be seriously hoping Puma want the gig, their training wear is simple but always well fitting and polite on the nipple.

Kukri dont seem to have a problem supplyig most other teams and other sports!

Just because of one bad example in Sheffield doesnt mean the whole company is wrong.
