| Quote the artist="the artist"we've largely been a disaster even since the ludicrous decision to get rid of sharp, he should have been given more time. since then we've limped along for 7 or 8 seasons, but its got much worse under radford. he's got to be replaced now and take the majority of the coaching staff with him otherwise i would put large bucks on leigh or bradford beating us later in the season. we shouldn't realistically get relegated but neither should we think we are too good/big to go down under the current regime'"
Losing Cooke was the turning point, as much as it pains us to say it. That incident sums the last decade or so of the club up, off the field incompetence combined with a consistent inability to replace quality player with anyone better or of the same standard.

| Quote Mr. Zucchini Head="Mr. Zucchini Head"Noble is undoubtedly an improvement on Radford, but I can't help but feel that we would just be having this same conversation two years down the line if we got him.
If McNamara is available and interested I would make a big push to get him.'"
My concern with McNamara is he's won nothing as a coach and with England he's done the 'nearly won but lost it narrowly' routine too many times already, though I do appreciate Australia/New Zealand are much more competitive opposition.

Who is in charge of our recruitment?
Compare it to Rovers. How do they manage to recruitment. ( certainly from overseas) so much better than us?

It wasn't though was it, because after Cooke left we regrouped, signed Matty Head, and actually had a pretty good season. We were one Richard Horne brainfart from being 80 minutes away from Old Trafford. We jumped the gun and got rid of Sharp way to early.

As much as it pains me to say it their recruitment will get even better with Jamie Peacock involved.

Better contacts? Tbf their retention is generally dog turd though. Interview with Kelly this week says he's got an Aus release clause for example.

I'm sick of this excuse now. Rovers have signed 5 good halfbacks amongst all the crap we sign..
Holdsworth and Sneyd being the 2 worst of that group..
Our recruitment has been in the bottom 2 in the Superleague hence why we are sat in the bottom 2..
Pearson out!!

The national team is now in a better place than when he got the job, and he's played his part in that. He's used to being in the spotlight, he's done two years in the NRL at arguably the best club in the world and he has plenty of contacts on both sides of the world. He's also Hull lad to boot if Pearson wants to keep banging that drum.
I don't see anyone better who we might actually have a chance of attracting.

And both those players have played much better at other clubs, with a better coach. I doubt that it is so much about bad recruitment.
