You might want to check on the facts.

Sky rule but there are always blue chip games that are bound to be bookmarked for tv, the derbies are blue chip even if both are bottom of the league. Whilst I agree it is not possible to nail down date and times of potential changes surely when the the fixture list comes out sky could put an * next to games and say subject to moving for sky. Then at least you are prepared for a days shift in game date.
Or does that seem too complicated.

Don't spoil it for those in the know who claim Rule knew ages ago and has deliberately screwed them over.

It sucks, but Sky own the Super League. This isn't the first time it's happened and won't be the last.

Give you that one but I think the beef is the moving to Thursday night when the only other time it happens is the thursday before good friday.Big difference when the next day is school and work and the other is holiday

Then blame the Police, Sky wanted Saturday originally.

Firstly I dont know wether the police made the call although I suspect it may be true, secondly what reason do the police have for not having it on Saturday? Clipper thingy apart, when is the last time any real trouble happened at a derby at the KC? think its paranoid to think we cant congregate and exit in a calm manner when City play every saturday at 3pm against teams with suspect fans to say the least.

sorry but that should be on ALL tickets. Not all ticket holders have internet access or are full time followers of the game.

You do know they are expecting many thousands of people, and the Police Authority are skint, and under investigation for overtime?

And my point was they dont need a big presence at the game.

They need what the stadium operational rules dictates, get over it, it's happening.

I fully sympathise with your predicament but as has been pointed out this is hardly the first time a game has been changed and it wont be the last. People should realise that there is a chance a game will be moved.

Incidentally, Super League give these dates for Sky's live game selections for the remainder of the season:

Round 23 Selections by July 5
Round 24 Selections by July 12
Round 25 Selections by August 2
Round 26 Selections by August 9
Round 27 Selections by August 22

The round 25, 26 and 27 games can be moved just two weeks before they are played.

read most of these pages at a glance, i do sympathise with fans who cannot now make the game, this isn't the clubs fault, they are damned if they do and damned if they don't, sky are the ones holding the purse strings to the game, they call the shots and unfortunatly we the fans are the last to be considered, if true that sky wanted our game saturday and the police refused it, imo they shud've moved the pies v wire game to the saturday game and left ours on the friday!
