| The only chance Hull have is by getting Brian Smith back from Australia, this guy is a legend and IMO one of the best RL coaches of all time.

| Watching a well known site the other night i came across Alex Murphy telling his team what he thought about them after they had under performed. He told them in no uncertain terms what he thought about them.Agar should watch this and do the same.I said a few weeks ago he was like a rabbit in the headlights and seems incapable of changing things when they are going wrong(which is all the time just lately)As my old mother used to say,"you have to speculate to accumulate"so come on you faceless board and speculate in a top class coach.Pass sales will take a dive next season if we are like this at the end of this season.Didn't even listen to the match today as i like most of the fans on here know what is going to happen as soon as the game starts. We can blame injuries but what we should blame is a coach who can't seem to get our tactics or our gameplan right.Fans can see players who try and we can also see people who go through the motions

| Things wrong with Agar:
1. Squad selection - He can't pick a decent 17. He can't justify his selecting of no loose-forward all year, a HB that hasn't performed all year, a hooker that is inconsistent, 1 prop on the bench rather than 2, and 3 excellent players that haven't been getting game time yet playing far better than anyone else.
2. Tactics - We have none, other than give it to Willie Manu. The kicks are baffling. The plays are non-existent. The defence is a shambles. It is just not good.
3. Motivation - The players have lost interest in playing. It's all well and good putting the blame on the players for not being interested, but as a coach it is his job to find out why and act accordingly to rectify the problem. And if they don't change, drop them.
Richard Agar needs to ask a lot of questions about himself. He needs to ask why he's doing what he's doing. He needs to ask why he's doing hasn't been working and what to do next. He needs to identify why his players don't want to play with passion and what he can do about it. If he can't answer these kinds of questions and see how we're going to improve, then he should not be a coach at this level. He just doesn't know what he's doing and how to get out of this mess. I'm sorry Rich, but it's time to give up and find your level.

| Some very valid points there.
The lack of a decent LF is a problem , Radford does not have the guile to play that position and only was a success in the first five games when you were managing to dominate other teams.
Bench selection has been a continual failure.

Infact, not even to play with the team we have. Name one game where he's being able to put out our first choice team?'"
C'mon how often are coaches given time to build their own team FFS!?!?! We are in a results business, if Agar was half decent he would have made the most with what he has got (maybe he has!!!!!) You are clutching at straws on this one!!!
He (Agar) has had 18 months or so to improve things and he has taken us backwards! Yes he has had injury problems but so did Peter Sharp, i would support Agar if i had confidence in his coaching ability and this run of form was solely down to lack of players available....however i don't think that is the case!
If we had any ounce of a gameplan, if we had attacking structures in place that were effective we could pick 13 monkeys and a decent coach would get more out of em that what Agar is. Simply the guy is out his depth!

| Despite having numerous excuses to use it still does not excuse how poor Agar has been this season. He has continually made poor decisions and although a new playing roster will help it will still require a major improvement from him, I am just not sure he is upto it.

He is clearly not. He has no tactical sense, no motivational powers (or it at least seems that way) no balls and cannot see what 10,000 supporters can see, the vast majority of whom have no coaching ability.
I cannot fathom how new players can possibly change his fundamental, basic coaching errors.

| your "coach" on the radio saying we won't make the play-offs it hardly gives you the lift you need after yesterday. I have (once again) emailed Rule:-
James,
You have to believe I was on the right lines with my email earlier this year. Picture the scene 7,000 people jumping up and down, hugging each other and cheering, Where? AT CRAVEN PARK YESTERDAY when the score at Castleford was announced. The same 7,000 have been laughing at us for 2 years solid now. Where are Rovers in the league after only 2 years in SL? they are placed solidly at 4th, why? BECAUSE THEY HAVE A WORLD CLASS COACH! Take Warrington, poor coach, not performing, they bring in Tony Smith, where are they now? in the semis and definitely going to be in the play-offs!! There's a pattern emerging here James, can you see it?
If you think (& I believe you do) that 3-4 new signings will make us a great team, then your are way,way off the mark, a great team is led by a great leader, ask Alex Ferguson. Carry on with Richard and you yourself will be out of a job, make no mistake about that.
I will have to go to Craven Park because I have tickets, but it will be the last away match for me I'm afraid, I will continue to support us at home. Being absolutely hammered by a team that are new to SL and not won a game at home since March was unfortunately the last straw for me yesterday. To rub salt in the wound our "coach" on the radio this morning saying we have no chance of reaching the play-offs! Dear me I never thought we would slip so far behind these tin pot clubs.
Don't bother replying James, I've heard every possible angle, reason, excuse and it just does'nt wash with me anymore.

| This season pretty much over for me.
I wouldnt be suprised if we didnt win another game, the only positive that I can see is that around half the team that played yesterday shouldnt be here next season.

Rovers fans would cheer,we would do the same if roles were reversed.Been going on for years.
Whilst I agree Justin is a good coach, but world class??....give over.
Its a good job we wont reach the play offs. As it stands we would be dumped out first hurdle.
A bit unfair calling sides like Cas tin pot. They are in super league therefore worthy opponents.

No they shouldn't but until they put their words into actions I fear that the majority will be there.
The time has come now for the club to announce who will be going and sit them an the sidelines until the end of the season. I would rather we got walloped by the likes of Cas but go down fighting as opposed to the shambles that was served up by a totally unprofessional bunch of has beens that represented us yesterday.
Forget where they were born, what medals they have from the past etc just get rid now. We are destined to finish 13th at this rate which is even by some on heres expectations is appaling.
