It is Agars team. No excuses.

as i just said to someone on IM, you would expect the core skill of international players to be the fact thay can pass , catch a ball without dropping it and drive in without dropping it, all of which went west last week...
no matter how good a coach you are , passing drills are not expected to be your game build up'"
I dont get you - We dont want to watch them train most of us are at work when that is happening anyway - While I appreciate what you are saying about Richard and your loyalty to him James its what we pay for that is the problem. I will say again I have never met him but listening to him at Forums.Radio etc I really like him but that is not enough.

Probably watches them train through his high powered telescope from his attic bedsit in Coltman Street.

With the latest that the club is getting shirty about Twitter's fake Kath and Agar, you'd think they'd be approaching Admin on here about the fake James Webster.
Wouldn't they...?

I was saying this to my mate the other day. agar is one of the 3 worst coaches I've seen at the club, with walsh and casey the other 2. Those 2 at least had the excuse that the club were skint and up shiit creek without a paddle. agar has no excuse but his own ineptitude.

Was thinking about Tony the Tank Gordon yesterday. He got binned for 0 from 9 IIRC. The Russ Walker/Phil Windley combo as well. We went through a couple of coaches a season in the good old days.

| For me it's quite simple, the board have huge faith in him and have given him their full backing when it has come to getting rid of player, recruiting and even spending money on fees.
I think last season was a big season for him and the fact he finished in the top 6 (almost top 4) and had to contend with injuries to the halves probably impressed them.
I think they know that they have time on their side, they can give him half a season and still make the decision to get rid and recruit another coach plus there is the money issue and also the fact that they are maybe trying to save face as he has been their man and they won't want to be wrong. Plus he is a good guy and the maybe want to give him every chance to suceed.
I think there will be a tipping point but it will take a few more defeats or maybe us slipping into the bottom 2.

Agree with some of that, but:
1) The number of injuries we had last year were nothing out of the ordinary IMO. The HB thing was maybe a factor, but no more or less than for Saints who made the GF and had Soliola out all year as well.
2) Time is not really on their side. If we lose the next half dozen games to take us to halfway through the season, then we won't make the play-offs (again) and the last bits of goodwill remaining amongst the fans will be eroded. The club has worked really hard to achieve such success in terms of fan numbers and commercial stability. The fans have stuck with the club through 3 seasons of promise and non-delivery. Rule has said many, many times "It's a results-based business", yet there appear to be zero consequences for the complete lack of results.

On your 2nd point, I think a lot of fans have already wrote off this season so I was mainly talking about getting the right man in for next season. If we make the right appointment and sign a few players then the fans would come back again next season I think.
Plus we might have to wait until the end of the season to get the right man?

We're only 6 matches into this season! Why should we write it off? Agree we should appoint the right man for next season, undoubtedly, but we need someone to see this one out either as Agar's replacement or overseer of rugby.
If they do nothing to save this season there'll be no one on the terraces to see the wondercoach next!
