just reading wilf saying hull could be close to sorting a top aussie scrum half for the 2012 season,i wonder who it could be?.cooper cronk will be 28 by then usually about the time top aussies start to think of coming over.

Think you need to drop the Cooper Cronk stuff mate, Paramatta approached Melbourne this year and were sent packing. He's signed until the end of the 2013 season and they've been very vocal in stating he's not leaving.
Think I also recall reading he's a top four earner at the Storm and we've already witnessed they have Warrington style salary cap in place. It would take a salary of 300k ish to lure him here - no chance. |

I did say i laughed it off as a joke, however i'm simply putting what i've been told. I know for a fact that the club are talking to him/his club/his reps but as you've said it's unlikely to happen, but when people have a go about lack of ambition it is certainly not the case.
Just one thing tho Digby, it's not always about money, sometimes it's just about rugby league!! |
