| Certainly there are grounds for concern about Tuimavave's injury record. Is it three this season already? I'd like him in the centres where he showed real promise early on the season and as cover for stand off.

That's true.
You'd pick him before Fonua at the moment for sure. I'd put him back on the wing and Michaels to centre.

| I think Fonua has the potential to be a very good player. He's still fairly young and some overseas players with more experience struggle to adapt to Super League in their first season. Hopefully we shall see a big improvement next season whether it be on the wing or in the centre.

Have a sneaking feeling the club are targeting the challenge cup, so can't see them risking anyone , even those with slight knocks.
In fact, it wouldn't surprise me if we don't win a game until the semi.
Not being negative, just a feeling I have.'"
I said this after the Catalan game . The Club have targeted the Cup .
We will lose the next 2 games before the semi .
According to some Rovers fans I spoke to yesterday , they are now world beaters . Thursday is their Grand Final . Also let's face it , it is probably their turn .

| Defo swop fonua for Michaels. If we are targeting the semi it ain't going to.well with the injuries we had on Fri. Maybe the cats match took more out of us then we thought. I still think we will beat rover's then maybe look to rest a few for Salford but I suppose that depends on the table. Last year we where out of the cup and scrambling around to get in the 8 and celebrate a win at rover's to get in the 8th. How times have changed this year . Cup semi and challenging for the top we have come a long way

| Much as I like Funoa I do think a change is necessary. How about Michaels in the centre with Naughton or Lancaster outside him.

Up North recently, same hotel as some Newcastle fans, _ asked about Carlos, & they said exactly that,
`Promising', all the skills, does everything well - but not very often, goes missing for long periods.'
Our current backline is dreadfully slow, & I feel we'd be better putting a line through the Connor deal
& look for a pacey off half for next season. Put Carlos back in the centre with Griffin & bring in Lancaster (he must be about ready)
Fonua is a bit of thorny one - too slow for the wing & a defensive liability in the centre, does'nt deserve a place on
current performances.

I tend not to judge overseas players on their first season.
Think they take a year to settle in and adapt.
Think we'll see more good things from Fonua next year. And Pritchard and Manu. More able to judge them then.
Hopefully Benji will hit the ground running though!

Pleased someone else agrees with me.
Was slated on here by some with an opinion that Tuimavave was not the 6 we need and is a much better centre where he has more space to use his footwork and passing ability.
He also works well with Pritchard following him and looking for the offload. Pritchard when fit should be played in a wide roll busting tackles rather than used up the middle as another prop.
Lets hope the club see sense and find the 6 we need.We would probably see another level from Sneyd playing with a quality 6.

Said the same thing myself,we need pace.Playing the winger as a third prop works sometimes but other times you need pace.Lancaster has pace and he could be just what we need

Naughton played only half a match yesterday so its looks likely he will be in the team against HKR.
Whether Radford drops Talanoa for Naughton or Fonua and move Michaels to centre with Naughton on the wing we will have to wait and see.
It looks likely however that we will see a number of changes mainly due to injuries.

It would have been a different game had he stayed on? You are right that we haven't performed as we should in the last two games but Ellis raises the bar for the rest of the team, as does Mini. Are they looking at CC semi?'"
we will just have to continue to disagree about Tuimavave as a first choice 6 for next season.I think the club will have a rethink about this and revert to using him back in at left centre.
Apology accepted have a good rest of your holiday

I wouldn't mind seeing us sign him but think we missed chance when left Wakefield. Not sure if he's playing nrl every week but I know he was earlier in season. Would fit in with the brotherhood as well.olso not 100% if he's a hooker who can cover 6 or a stand-off who can cover 9.for me i think were a good 6 ( Blake green ) off from a one season wonder type team to fully breaking the top 4.

| Good result for us today. Funny we both have lost 2 matches since the quarter final.
