Of course you are, but when you get the information to do so from a privileged position, its not very smart to start shouting about it. Equally, if you aren't prepared to say how you know, it just looks like bragging, which in my view is unprofessional (and Piers Morgan-esque).

If you've got to know through your job, then it's personal information between the client (whoever that is) and the company that really shouldn't be talked about in the public domain even if you aren't revealing figures. Are you prepared to tell everyone how much you're on?

It's not through my job, I build dreams I'm nothing to do with accounts/figures, so if anybody posts a single thing on here & you know they are wrong, you won't post to put them right? As for bragging which I am not, I do know a very lot about our club & would be posting a lot of facts which I don't, I just put the kr fan who claims to know about our players finances/contracts on the right path, it maybe did come across as if I was showing off to you, but trust me I wasn't, so I will just read posts what are not true & not comment if I know any truth from now on.

So are we saying that Pearson had no knowledge of the size of the offers made to 'Gentle and McRae's' signings? The same Pearson who stepped in personally to convince Ellis to choose Hull and who owns the club and the purse-strings? He didn't know when we signed Miller that the young novice would be one of fhe highest earners? Or that McDonnell's dad was a mate of Gentle's? Or that most of our signings had the same agent? We're saying this successful, savvy businessman was kept in ignorance by the evil duo throughout?

It's beyond nonsensical.

I can see that he may have been misled by the advice of McRae but find it ludicrous to be asked to believe that Pearson was completely ignorant of the shenanigans and blindly duped. Because if that is the case we are asked to believe that Pearson is a naive fool which we all know he is not.

I am also uncomfortable by the bracketing of Gentle and McRae as the hoodwinkers who have led Pearson up the garden path. What possible reason can Gentle have had to mislead Pearson? From what I saw his role was to coach the team he had available, and he made a better job of it with the same men at his disposal than the current incumbent.

Does anybody have any concrete information as to any darker side to the input from Gentle? Anyone know the precise nature of the 'mistake' it is now generally felt Pearson made in hiring him? If not, I prefer to keep my thoughts of him non-defamatory.

I think this is probably a case for an internal investigation. If confidential information (which is what players' salaries are) is being leaked to someone outside the club hierarchy then AP needs to know. Whoever is responsible for passing this information on should be out of the door immediately. In fact I'm tempted to contact Adam and let him know this is happening.
