| bonaire:Yippee try yay:Good win don't know how we won after watching that, we'd have definitely lost that last season. We urgently need some quality at second row and centre, at one point we had a winger and a full back at centre and a centre and a prop in the second row, we need bodies back ASAP. Its a win, thats what counts Cartwright is the bright light at the club and with some quality players to work with think he can take us forward but we need to get rid of some of the dross and give him players to work with. With regard to Second row and Centre we have known this now for three seasons and Myler comes up with (will ever see him Holmes) and (will he ever finish a match Chamberlain) Cant see Holmes starting a game this season. Both need to be binned Rapana needs to be back at full back ASAP but the centre and second row problem is making Cartwrights job a lot more difficult Can’t you just shut up you boring 2@ or sod off on hull live under another username…all he does on there is Myler this and Holes this. Why don’t we bin of Jed Cartwright then…came injured, injured again but no…you have a hard on for Holmes and a even harder one for Myler….do us all a favour and pi££ off

| It was a poor performance really and worrying how easily we have been dominated in the forwards the last 2 games. Still, we manged to stay in the fight and come away with 2 points which is what it's all about but we won't win many playing like thatt

| Think the phrase is 'gutsy win'! Thought we started well and deservedly took the lead, but in the twenty minutes up to half-time we lost our way and looked so ragged, our composure and discipline evaporated suddenly. Guess Cartwright calmed them down a touch in the break as we looked a touch calmer and more organized on the restart, but until the intercept I struggled to see where we were going to score. We got there in the end and it sure wasn't very pretty, but a thumbs up for attitude and sticking in there which we didn't have throughout 2024. We're short on bodies and short on quality, but then most of us already knew that before a ball was kicked or ran in anger. We are where we are right now and there is no getting away from that. It will be a difficult watch for a good while yet, but we've no choice but to tough it out and stick with them. On the plus side, as things stand right now we're in a play-off spot so it's not all doom and gloom (for some of us at least)

| Cant believe what I witnessed, felt defensively we looked like we was hanging on and the defensive line looked very laboured at times. However we stayed in the fight, didnt give up and somehow came away with the victory. Wasnt impressed when he first came on the scene but genuinley think we have a player in Barron. Rapana looks a waste at centre for me.

Im sure Myler would have liked to have signed the entire Penrith Panthers team but instead had to get players at the lower end of the market. Its a long process and the sooner alot of people realise that the better.

| It was a game of 2 momentum shifts: 1 - 1st half - Hull knock on in attack and then give a penatly - momentum shifts to Shudds... 1 - 2nd half - Barrons interception - after this its all FC Looking at how the 1st half finished - I think the 1/2 time "chat" from Cartwright pretty much turned it around. So glad hes our coach. 1st half was meh. 2nd half was better but as Carty said we didn't look like scoring, intil the Barron interception. After that it was just all FC.

| Well well, some win that, regardless of how poor Huddersfield are or whatever I will take 2 wins out of 3 every day of the week. Hopefully get some bodies back next week with Eseh and Knight coming in too.

| For as bad as Hudds are, they have a decent pack, 4 good props in English, Wilson, Rodgers and Burgess. Woolford is good too and Cudjoe can still play. Think we should have been trying to go around them a bit more and kicking behind for our wingers to chase. Hopefully, Jed is back next week along with Knight and Eseh, giving us some more size in the pack. Hardraker is far away either according to the boss, no him back and Rapana to FB, gives us more metres out of our half.

| Huddersfield are one of the weaker teams in the league but still definitely no push overs. Both Leigh and Warrington, 2 much fancied teams this year, only managed to put them to bed in the last 5 minutes of their games and they're both much better teams than us. Huddersfield look okay in the forwards (really like the look of Wilson) but with no good half backs they struggle to create anything. But defensively this year they have looked fairly good with very good line speed. That alone will keep them in games.

| I think the Huddersfield game is the embodiment of where we are as a club at the moment. Some useful youngsters , some useful oldsters, a few injuries, use of what we can get from players available to bolster our deficiencies. Those are go forward, back row and centres. Need Jed Cartwright back which is imminent, we have 2 new forwards coming in in Eseh and Knight, there’s some youth to blood in the centres and there’s recruitment for next season. Like Salabio too. We’ve won 2 of 3 and are fully aware of the task in hand. In JC and Myler we have started the evolution - it will be slow. The Wigan game shows the distance we have to go but we’ll be there in 3 or 4 seasons with a favourable wind. For now we have to endure the embryosis if that’s a word with true support and trust. Tough next week but it will be a good gauge with a better forward pack
