I'm happy with our props tbh,add in the young lads.Can't wait to see the young lads in action at york tbh.I would prefer to add another back. |

Whilst Mason isn't necessarilly who I'd choose and "namby pamby" isn't the right description , our pack never bossed any games last season despite Ogre & co having that "big hard pack" billing. Maybe they were playing too many minutes , maybe our lack of a kicking game put too much demand on their energy but I'm hoping for more this year from them and think that maybe we do need a bit more "mongrel" about us.

Seems to be a few players getting injured in training lately, I remember a quote form last year when RA said if the players don't play a game soon they might just kill each other.
Guess all training with no play gets 'em like that, whoever they play for.

Exactly!!! Don't get me wrong I love 'em but when was the last opposing forward to get flattened (properly) by one of ours props??
They have big billing and rightly so but Moa inst very aggressive is he? I'm sorry but you have to go out there wanting to stamping the living *&*& out of the opposing forwards. There is a clip on that video site of O'Meley getting revenge on a certain B. Gibbs and and giving him a proper mouthful afterwards. You don't win anything being nice and we haven't been winning much recently.
I really hope Gentle can get them reved up for games when needed. Looking forward to seeing the impact of Aspinwall as he roughing it up in training I've heard.
