The article is new but the headline is misleading. When you read what Whiting says he is hopeful of something being finalised soon, so clearly talks have not just been opened.
Agar also says that Whiting leaving was 'never an option' so it looks like it was always intended to offer a new deal. |

| The Maloney deal will have been done and dusted before the show I think so he could have announced that.
Dont you think the presenter always drives the conversation, almost telling the guests what to say? 
Maybe a suggestion for the programme would be for a news update section at the end of the show from Rule. |
