| Overall I wasnt that impressed tonight, whether the personal we lost impacted the drop in intensity ill never know. However I wasnt expecting much from the game so we move on. I really thought we would have lost our first two games so to have won 1 out the 2 is something.
Move on dont dwell, ive still seen enough to think we will be better then last year. Far from being a boo boy yet, long journey ahead which we all know.

| At one time our forwards where Gardiner Hutchinson Aydin Fash lane . Unfortunately that's not going to handle any pack .....We need another 1)2 forwards..... Actually thought our backs looked ok with limited ball they received.....But I'd take 2points out of the first 2 matches......We didn't throw the towel in but the gulf was there to see .....

| Obviously a disappointing score and night, but we was always going to get the Wigan backlash from last week.. add in missing players and losing Sao, made it near enough mission impossible. Draw a line under it and focus on Hudds, hopefully have a few bodies back, I not, the club need to start looking imo

| Fair play to Wigan, everything they do is always on the money, they make the right decision every single time they're absolutely clinical.
They're team is made up of players in the top 3 or 4 in their position in the league and that's every position, they don't really have any weaknesses, we were on a hiding to nothing tonight especially with the players we had missing but there were definite signs of encouragement.
All the boys dug in and had a go, didn't chuck the towel in as in previous years, fingers crossed we get a few back next week and hopefully Sao isn't as bad as it looked.

| Some noticeable improvements for me, despite the scoreline. Look stronger in the wrestle this year and slowing the ruck down more. Attacking shape looks a lot better and the passing at times is pretty slick. Unfortunately just don't have the right players in to make the most of it at the moment. Fash got some really good ball 2nd half but just isn't good enough, especially at 2nd row. I feel Jed would have bust a couple of tackles or slipped an offload out to the centre/winger.
I'm not against going for short drop outs but we had just managed to win the momentum in the game and then that try just killed everything good they'd built at the start of the 2nd half
Happy with what I've seen from Sezer in attack over the first 2 games. Proper scrum half who leads us around and attacks the line.
Salabio looked useful. Just runs straight and hard and looks to always make big contact in defence.
So frustrating that it's only week 2 and we're having to use players like Gardiner and Hutchinson. About 6 out injured and a few looking like longer term ones. I'm not into panic signing but we really need to look at strengthening the squad more ASAP.
Need a big performance against Huddersfield next week to show that tonight was just an off night, but realistically we may only get 2 players (Bourouh and Ashworth back).

| Disappointed to ship in 40+ points tonight, injuries now stacking up also. Wigans pace, defence and a little luck way better.

| Disappointing scoreline and again with a big crowd. Wigan are experts at slowing teams down and they did that pretty much all game other than that bright 10mins were we managed to get and play some quicker ball. Also thought defensively Wigan were on the move as we were bending down to ptb where as we were waiting until it was played so they rolled us down the field and we just couldn’t get going.
Plenty of positives, we looked much more disciplined, looked better in the wrestle, certainly look fitter and you could see that we do have some structure to our play & Salabio looks like he may well be a pretty good pick up. Thought Barron and Martin again stood up well.
Think there definitely signs that there’s more to come but as has been mentioned we have little to no depth once we lose 3 or 4 players. Ligi is a big concern as didn’t look good, also noticed that Asiata went off in the 2nd half and don’t think I saw him on the field or touch line at the end of the game.
Definitely need some reinforcements / additions asap.
Ultimately Wigan are a class apart and were very clinical tonight and found the holes in our rejigged lines very well and punished us.
Happy to be 1 from 2 at this stage, long road ahead as we are very much a work in progress.

| The squad was poor and we've now lost some of our better players and most of the size in the forwards. Some decent signs at times but the defence was poor for most of the game. Not aggressive enough, poor line speed.
Absolutely nothing in the centre and 2nd row, it was such a miss match.
I thought sezer was excellent. If we had some decent centres and a couple of big 2nd rowers he'd have a field day.
We're going to struggle until we get some bodies back

Asiata was in the dugout area with a bib on so I reckon he was fine. Game was well gone so I suspect Cartwright had clocked the bad luck around the place and decided to bring him off.

| Saw some positives with the enthusiasm but we were just overpowered and not helped by losing Sao so early. We are going to need to use our spare cap space and possibly a transfer fee to boost the pack.
And ticket deals need to be banned, lost count of how many times we've disappointed newbies in the stands.

It's a shame it was Wigan really, I think we could have had a really good atmosphere if it had been say Cas.
Blame the fixture planners!

| I think there was always a chance of a score like this given the players missing and Wigan looking very strong. Most teams would have struggled against them tonight. Their defence is just so strong. In their last six SL / PO games they've conceded 0-0-0-2-1-4 which is crazy.
There are some signs there, Barron and Martin are such talents and agreed on Salabio, could be an astute addition to the squad. Sezer looks to be a good signing.
At the very least Andrew Thirkill will be clear about the task in hand in improving the squad.
