Credit to Wakey I thought, bit like a couple of our gallant defeats last year v Wigan etc in Super 8s, came close and played well in parts, defended hard. Thought Taylor and Watts put in good shifts too. Two more points takes us to 40, not too shabby that.

We need to find another gear in defence and a couple in attack if we're to get anywhere neat OT. We didn't deserve to win that one but glad we did. I think we needed ellis at 2nd row tonight not playing in the middle. radford's interchanges were better this week but playing feka just asks too much of the other forwards IMO. ellis is a really important player for us but I think mini is just as vital. When he doesn't play we don't look like the same team. I think had he not got injured in both games we would have beat wigan and leeds at home this year

Its not negative its seeing what needs to be changed on the field to make a really good team great.If thats means highlighting certain players then so be it.

Ugly win but 2 vital points. Taylor and Watts' 2nd half stints turned it for us was glad to see Wattsy get Sky MOM was well deserved. Defence and attack seems laboured at times in last few games. What a player Mahe is good move by Radders to move him to the centre and stick with him there.

The drop goal really annoyed me, on the 4th all we had to do was drive to the posts and give Sneyd a simple kick, instead we went wide and made it a bit rushed for him.
