| Next April ,Allam will be asking Hull Tigers fans, Vote Conservative or Lib Dems,
as we cannot fund Premiership football anymore, I need the KC for free,so we can stay in the top flight.

| Quote UllFC="UllFC"the apathy of people in Hull in voting really annoys me, we have one of the worst election turnouts in the country...yet all you hear is people moan about the council and the government.

I imagine a healthy proportion of the abstainers are in the 'No to Hull Tigers - yes to the Allams' camp, and therefore not able to answer a question that reflects that view.
As mentioned already, this is a vote on leadership not name change. You would think the FA would see through it.

| Dont like the name hull tigers,I thought hull city tigers would have been a decent compromise, but lets be real, like them or not the allams have put their money where their mouth is and the tigers are enjoying the most succesful spell in their history.Wembley this weekend and every chance of playing in an fa cup final, being able to attract top name players, huddlestone, long, jelavic etc, stability in the premiership, all due to the allams. putting the money down. Im sure if the hull city till I die group are honest, they could not possibly have predicted the season the tigers have had,so why not swallow their pride and enjoy the ride, because there are a stack of clubs throughout the country can only dream of having owners who do what they say they will do.The allams are ruthless business men who have got to where they are because of this, you dont have to like them, just enjoy what they are doing for this city.

I'll think you'll find if you ask the people who didn't vote, the majority will say the abstained because of the (loaded) questions. It was either Yes to Hull Tigers with Allam family staying or No to Hull Tigers. It was not a fair ballot as it was not a fair representation.

| Whilst I agree that the questions did sound a bit loaded I do think that people have perhaps been a bit foolish in not voting. This is an important decision in the clubs history. Their voices needed to be heard.
If they failed to vote because they were worried that a vote of No to Hull Tigers would have seen the Allams walk then what I would say to those people is that owners come and go but the clubs tend to remain. City are a Premier League side who have almost secured their top flight status for another season. That would be an attractive option to a lot of wannabe football owners I think.

But why did they have to mention themselves in the poll? Iirc the vote is not about the Allems staying or leaving, its about a name change. Theres only one reason why they laid out the questions like they did and for most of us it sticks out like a sore thumb.

I am a season ticket holder and did not vote.
If you rely on this poll to make your voice heard then you've failed already, this poll is meaningless, biased and quite possibly corrupt (a significant number of votes have gone missing and the company responsible for counting them has had to make a statement to defend themselves). It will have no bearing on the FA's decision and in no way represents the opinion of fans.

However the result does allow Allam's supporters in the media to claim that a majority of fans are in favour of the name change (incidentally they aren't because only 43% of those voting voted for change) or aren't bothered either way.

| And now he has stated he will go back on his threat to walk away when the FA reject the name change.
Thought he didn't make idle threats?
