You never answered my question Eddy, who's the better winger.

Well you'd know all about folk posting under different usernames, wouldn't you? I find it rather sad myself - hiding behind an alternate ID just to mess about. Still, each to their own I guess.

| Oh - and the thread is meant to be about Turner. Can people try and ignore the sad troll and stay on topic please?
Cheers.

[quote="The Reason":3e09qe5x]Hi Andy
The Rugby Football League are in the process of reviewing the video that you are referring to. We do not condone behaviour of this nature and have contacted the player’s employer, Hull F.C., who have confirmed that they are dealing with the incident under their club rules.
Regards,
Matthew[/quote:3e09qe5x]:23521.jpg |

Gasnier retired last season.

I actually brought up the topic of how you will replace Turner, and how we will replace our wantaways, it was Hull fc trolls that derailed it initially

| Shame to see him leaving, however a player has to do what is right for them. if we didn't want him, we wouldn't be obliged to offer him a new deal a the end of the season and on the flip side, he's not obliged to stay.
Good Luck to him, he's got himself a good club. Let's not be too harsh on Jordan, at the end of the day, he more than contributed with his hat trick against Rovers and that will be remembered long after he's retired.
I trust Gentle to fill this squad space well and the early promise that Crooks has shown means we should be fine.

Come on Seb, that's cutting your nose off to spite your face.
I also don't get this "so and so will be better for the game time going forward" cack. These are contracted, professional sports men. Their paymasters, the fans, want to see the best on offer in the here and now, not "but, but, but we will be a better team in 2027 if we don't play out best player now and promote some lad still In nappies..."
Ask yourself this (not just you Seb, everyone saying drop Turner and Manu), back in 1984, should Hull have dropped Peter Sterling for not commiting to the club long term?
I doubt Turner or any other player will come down with Wayne McDonald syndrome, there is too much for them to lose out on in the long term if they do.

FFS, you still banging this drum after I owned you on the Briscoe thread?
Fox has pace, no question. I am sure Dwayne Chambers, given an open line could score 7 in 6 with an open line, but we saw in the one trial game Chambers had, it takes more than just being quick to be a decent RL winger.
If that above is your case, I suggest you don't go into the legal profession, as you appear not to have a real case. You need some substance to your argument.
Paul Eastwood won a game for GB single handedly in 1990 at Wembley, under your rules, does that make hima better winger than Tom Van Vollenhoven or Brian Bevan?
Don't bother answering, it will only be some made up drivel.

I don't get your "[iso and so will be better for the game time going forward[/i". Surly Crooks will benefit more from more exposure to first team duty than languishing in the u20's . I agree the team should be picked on form but there's games now where crooks should be picked ahead of Turner now .

| Crooks should play every game in front of Turner IMO. Manu should keep his place as he is a great player. Turner has done well, but drop him. PLay our future in that position

| From what I've seen of Ben Crooks so far, I would say he's more talented than Kirk Yeamen. I think next season Crooks will be first choice left centre and Yeamen will be fighting it out with Turner's replacement for right centre.

| Not dissapointed at all to see Turner go, nor Manu for that matter. I have more faith in Gentle then any other coach I can remember, it's brilliant to see him have faith in our youth and long may it continue. There will be casualties on the way and Manu will be a big loss, but with Ellis coming and Gentle's willingness to give youth a chance, I've never felt this positive about Hull FC for years.

The team should be picked on form, 100% agree. But this shouldnt mean that Crooks should be picked ahead of Turner just because Turner is leaving. Its only if he would have played in that particular game anyway under the Coach's long term plan.
There are a lot of our fans who seem only interested in future youth development.
FWIW, I'd play Crooks ahead of Yeaman, a player who have never really realised his potential.
