There is zero chance of the RFL launching an enquiry into it's own behaviour. Having ruled that out, what other avenues are open? None that I can think of.

By whom? I'm not trying to be difficult here as I strongly believe that anyone knowingly involved ought to be punished appropriately, but the only two bodies with authority in this area are the RFL and UKAD and both of them have made it clear that they will not be taking further action.

The RFL has always protected itself first and foremost. Given a choice of actions they will always opt for the one that gives them the easier life or shows them in the best possible light - the path of least resistance. A number of clubs have benefited from this attitude over the years - Rovers included - and I don't see it changing any time soon.

And yes, I am deeply cynical.

If(big if i know) it can be proved that Rimmer and that lass did what gleesons statement says ie witheld info from the drug peeps if(2nd big if)enough people big in statue in the game apply pressure(Is Hudge the 1st?)then the position will quickly become untenable and action will be taken to help plaster over the rfl wound.

Aye unfortunatley that would be the consequence. Not enjoying this one little bit every little nook and cranny of the story is bringing our name down but if it's going to happen why not lets have it done now. Get it over and done with. Because for some strange reason "The RFL wish to comment no further at this time" does not fill me with confidence that this is quite over just yet.

UKAD have already investigated the role of Rimmer and Rosewarne and cleared them both. This was with the full cooperation of Gleeson so they will have already heard everything he had to say in the article and seen all the 'documentary evidence' he claims to have. The RFL will just fort up behind that regardless of what Hudge or anyone else wants.

So hudge is going to stand up and challenge the RFL

This is a 1st but I totally agree with Hudgell

interesting to read in the league express that the oxy-elite gleeson was found guilty of taking is allowed by athletes out of competition time, that is 12 hours before a game, gleeson took his within this time. maybe the reason rule panicked and said the players were taking the same stuff, but within the guidlines, no doubt other players from other clubs will have been using oxyelite too but abiding by the rules

Pretty much. I don't have Senior's book in front of me but, to paraphrase, he suggests that had his offence been committed more recently he'd have been looking at a much harsher punishment on account of the rules having been tightened.
