If you go on the Wigan board you will see that most of them would rather have O'Carroll than Lauaki.

Potentially a good signing IMO. My only concern is his injury record. I hope he had a thorough medical - preferably not by the same guy who examined Jimmy Bullard!

I think some on here need to realise there is a difference between a player who has had a long term injury and a player who is injury prone. Rich Whiting was out with two injuries for nearly as long as O'Carroll and he turned out alright.

So its not a 'shocking' signing anymore then?

Wonder who made this signing then & the reported signing of Lynch.

And also should we be looking for another prop now that Agar is going since it was rumoured that O'meley would be leaving if Agar did.

We now know why there was on mention of Agar's inspirational speech to bring him to the club... Cause he's going!

I remember last year he was kept out for ages with a groin injury then he got this hip one which he needed to see a specialist for.
