Now I fully agree it was pretty hard to see anything at Crusaders or Salford and mistakes have and still are being made. But he has had backing from some impressive sources.'"
I admire your optimism mate, but I must admit I'm struggling to share it.

Too coincidental for me and I will wait till tomorrow to see if it actually breaks.'"
its very interesting that a previous thread by the OP was about the official site going down for maintenance.

maybe indicates he/she is in involved in the running/hosting of the site?

Going for broke by spending money on a coach may buy a season of good performances, but if it crashes after that you are back to square one. I'd rather build as a team like we are doing. At the end of the season, we'll be top 4 and thoughts like these will be gone. We are still recovering from a few seasons of poor form and the player confidence issues don't right themselves with a couple of wins. We'll be fine, Agar is good coach and we'll be top 4 at the end of the season.'"
top 4!!!!! if losing to Crusaders and Salford are pointers to top 4, you must mean top of the 4 teams that will stand at the bottom of the league

Yes.
Wigan are far and above the best team in the league. Warrington, Saints and ourselves are pretty much on a par. Leeds have been shaky and have suffered with injuries. Huddersfield look good and will improve with Brough. Bradford aren't much to worry about. Top four looks a good target for me.

| If true then it's an extremely poor decision and it also seems very rushed. Unless they felt they had to act in order to keep him away from the England job.
Either way it all leaves me very underwhelmed and disappointed, it show a real lack of ambition.

Not optimism mate just like to state some facts for balance. I have doubts about Agar like most, but I do look at certain facts when trying to judge it.

| Why would we act to keep him away from the England job, we'd be well rid as he's not good enough to coach domestically, let alone internationally

anyone else think, if he has signed a contract, it might just be a scrawly "x" in the gap where joined up writing belongs?

We are not as good as Wire. Not by some distance. Saints are now coming into some form and still have a better squad than we do. Leeds will go well when they get some of their injured players back. Huddersfield are better than we are.
We have a top 8 squad, top 6 if things go our way. Our backs just aren't good enough yet for anything better than that. And TBH going from bottom 4 to top 8 in one season wouldn't be a bad season at all. Top 4 would require a pretty amazing set of circumstances IMO.
