This is, of course, quite correct.

Isn't it obvious? There's no way he's looked dangerous 'every time he's had the ball'. Even a world class centre doesn't look dangerous every time they have the ball. Hall is/will be a decent centre. He's not the superstar some seem to imagine he is.

I would like to see Hall cement the starting centre position as much as anyone.'"
Sorry, it's the naff highlighting/bold since the site update. I was meaning I disagree about him being a right centre. For me, he's a better left centre.

| Wonder if they'll work that move from the scrum we did against quins and this time see whiting ghost through the gap and outpace the defence from inside his own half on Friday

You keep saying this, but I can't say I recall anyone referring to him as a superstar.
People have different reasons for liking players, and it can be as simple as that player having a style that they prefer to watch. For me, Hall is the most 'natural' centre we have and the best attacking threat among our various options in the 3/4s. That doesn't mean I think that he's a superstar, as that class of player generally lacks the weaknesses that Hall unarguably has in his all-round game.
I do believe that he's capable of developing into a very good centre given a run in that position, which I guess is why I get frustrated when circumstances conspire to deny him that opportunity.

It used to be. In fact it used to get regular comments on here. Practice and experience have improved his timing and technique. No reason why Hall might not improve similarly.

Im sure Hall can just dont think Bradford are the team to test this as orford will exploit this weakness. I would put him at centre against Salford and Rovers.

I didn't mean you particularly, but I have heard him described on here as a 'future international', 'one of the most exciting talents in the competition', and 'dangerous every time he gets the ball'. All of these descriptions overstate just how good Hall is, IMO.

I think Orford is more likely to exploit our chronic weakness against the high ball on the other wing TBH.
Mind you If we defend like we did on Friday he'll have an ample choice of weaknesses to aim at. i

Craig Hall is the man to miss out this week, having played in every game so far this season, but Agar says the decision isn’t a reflection on him.
“Craig is not a natural winger, if there is a place where we probably didn’t need injuries it was our back three, but Craig has done a great job for us while he has had to play there,” said Agar.
“But we feel that Calders started the season pretty well, he is an experienced winger and with Richard Whiting in very good form, he has probably done enough to get the nod over Craig.”
All fair enough I think. Public praise for Hall and fair reason for this week's selection. If Whiting has a mare I'm sure Hall will be in contention next week. No sign of any scapegoating. Some overreaction on here perhaps ?
