i would like to see agar sign someone for centre

IMO there is no point signing a winger if he aint going to get the service. Think that was seen with matt sing. No matter which winger we signed for next year the problem is going to half back who creates opportunities. Also feel with Calderwood on board a world class centre is a must to help him along the way. Gidley type would be perfect but also a good solid defender as Calderwood has always been suspect in defence

With two young centres in Briscoe and Hall I would be dispoitted if there played G Horne there next season.

The above tow should be fighting out the right centre spot IMO.

The only time I can remember a chase between those two, was when we were playing Leeds at home, the game were it was 0-0 at half time. Raynor broke through and was running to the line, and Calderwood chased him down and from behind, knocked the ball out of his hand and it went dead, preventing Raynor from scoring.

For what its worth I think its a very good signing. For me, he is the best possible signing we could of made. We have no quota spots and any non-fed places we have left need to be used elsewhere. He has pace, has some good qualities and always rated him a lot when at Leeds. Said this tons of times, but players very rarely go to Wigan and improve themsleves, and most leave Wigan and improve themselves. I think Calderwood will do the same, if we actually use the right hand side properly

Hall dodgy in defence. Briscoe still very young and inexperienced. Together with Calderwood, it would be a try fest down that side

We'll see but Briscoe is good enough now and needs to be given plenty of game time at centre.

Briscoe, Byrne or Hall to play there next season, Briscoe would be my preference at the minute both defensively and in attack.
