Whiting tied up, Westy next. No chance of getting Crooks to sign another deal IMO. Doubt Miller will leave, where's he going to go?

As Jake said, why would he? He'll keep his options open for as long as possible, and so he should.

Why wouldn't he?

The painful but honest truth is because he could do better than us. Wouldn't personally say no chance of him extending, just that it would be understandable for him not to and I'm not too expectant at this moment in time, either.

Perhaps..... however think his Dad (Lee) would advise him to think twice. Lee was sold by Hull, but had never wanted to leave (our decline was beginning at that stage too). Reading his book, he always wanted to come back and Leeds/Cas did not offer better fortunes for him either on or off the pitch.

At the end of the day, Ben has a contract and it's his right to decide what he wants to do at the end of it. He could quite easily get an uplift with Hull now or let his contract run out and potentially have some other options, just like Tom Briscoe did. All we can ask is that he continues to give us his all while he plays for Hull.

Hopefully, he'll extend and become a Hull legend like his Dad.

In terms of salary or trophy potential?

No idea about salaries & would never pretend to, but almost definitely trophy potential. Maybe even both.

Taking out club allegiance and looking at it purely as a career move, if I were in Crooks' shoes I would not be looking to tie myself to us long term just yet. Being honest and as objective as possible, would many of us?

Hasn't stopped Richard Whiting signing a 2 year extension, and he was wanted by a few clubs
