Need to try and sort out what to do about our centres, I don't like carrying one on the bench. The fact we had to take one of our most dangerous players off in Connor, just to give Carlos some game time.
I though the game changed when they brought their bench on and we stuggked to dominate from that period.'"
Agree, I don't particularly go for the centre + Abdull on the bench as it leaves us with just two genuine forwards as interchanges. I suspect that once we have Mini, Manu and Taylor back this will change.

| connor unwell pre game according to radford which is why he took him off at 1/2 time
As for the game, the stats tell you everything. Cas 181 caries to our 128 and we made 394 tackles to their 258
You can't win a game of rugby without the ball

You thought Connor was one of our most dangerous? Thought he was poor tbh. Seems he May of been unwell tho so maybe forgive him that. But thought he was the catalyst to Cas getting going
Wardle came on and made him his play thing.
5th tackle pen trying to contain him- try
Wardle picked him up and walked him out 1st tackle -try
I love Connor but think he's spending too much time playing panto villain
Wigan poor..st George great...cas poor. Very erratic so far. But clearly a tremendous talent
Full strength I have Griffin on my bench..covers both wings centres and 2nd. Best of both worlds.
Every1 debating how to make 3 going to 2 at centre. If Shaul doesn't pick up the easiest thing imo Would be Connor at 1. Or Carlos even..think he'd be tremendous there
Shaul s lack of pass has bothered me forever..his link play is dire..never saves a try and he's not at his normal levels for the good parts of his game
Seems pointless trying to cram 3 into the centres if the fullbacks not at the races
(I've said this and now he'll probably be ace vs Warrington ha) and hope he is

| thought connor was poor, if he didn't feel well why play him? couldn't we have put tuime straight in?, put turgut on the bench, also I know fash plays his heart out but he just isn't big enough imo for a prop, We also had half our starting pack missing plus green, All in all best team won, we never let our heads drop but imo we need to sort our edge defence out,

I meant generally he is one of our most dangerous players, one of our few players who can unlock defences and great in the air, although I agree he didn't have a great half, although Griffins attempt on Webster was shocking, along with the time he fumbled the ball and they got a drop out, so he could have easily been subbed.
Didn't hear about Connors illness, if that's right, then don't play him, put Carlos at centre and bring in another forward.
What's up with Green?

| Also as good as Hadley has been, really missing Houghton, there was a few time yesterday when we got a quick play of the ball, Houghton would have run it and got us on the front foot, Hadley just passed, but that's what happens when you play a backrower at hooker

| I would play Connor in the role of Abdull has been playing.
He needs to be more involved, and get his hands on the ball .
Mind you, Connor will probably be playing stand off on Friday.
I can’t see Albert making it .

i pointed this out yesterday. When we are short in the second row why play Hadley at 9 when his preferred position and best position is second row.
He also tightens up the edge defence.
We could easily have played Washbrook or even Fash at 9 because as you say we are not running the ball only passing from a play the ball.
Our bench choice yesterday was poor.Just cant see the thinking of Radford on that one and the Cas bench just overrun us.
Green should have played if fit,Tuimavave played from the start with Griffin on the bench.
Our left edge defence with Griffin and Talanoa has to be one of the worst in Super League.Griffin is a liability in defence and our two wings have to start to hold the line otherwise we will leak tries on both edges.
Jamie Shaul quite rightly has come in for criticism and could be dropped but i hope he is given another chance so that we dont disrupt the team too much given Kelly could miss the game.

| As we have no back up hooker we were effectively 5 front line forwards down yesterday losing hadley from the back row. Losing Houghton last year probably cost us 2nd place and will probably cost us dear again this year. Hadley puts in a decent shift there but our attack suffers due to no specialist hooker

| Quote: Mrs Barista "Well clearly you do. But let's say you're a billionaire. Your username could well be a play on that, would make sense. You still have a limited time on earth as do we all. Spending what's left of it following a team you barely tolerate traipsing to Australia seems crazy. The world is full of beautiful places, untapped experiences, cultures we're not familiar with. Yet you choose to invest your most valuable commodity, time, in following Lee Radford literally to the ends of the earth. What a beautiful tacit expression of devotion; more powerful than the litany of criticism of his regime that characterises your contributions on here.'"
Dear me Mrs B your letting your usual measured comments slip. Your comments are nothing but personal invective. Please stick with comments on the game which you can do with competence. Or is that only when we are winning.

Shaul has been poor for some time beginning to fail to see what he’s bringing. Has it coincided with Conner’s arrival? Shaul is a confidence player. Remember when he couldn’t get a start and Radders had to put an arm round him.

We've lost the last three haven't we? I'm here regardless of result or performance unlike those whose visits correlate nicely with victory or, much more likely, defeat. I've commented already on my disappointment and disagreed with the bench composition. Good use of "invective", I enjoyed that.

I'm just glad we didn't have message boards in the days of Len Casey or Spider Walsh. We really had something to moan about then.
