FC fans cannot be held responsible for what happened. Yes, they criticised his performances on the pitch and rightly so. He then took it upon himself to drink and drive. (not for the first time). FC fans then stood by him (rightly or wrongly). As previous poster has said a massive gamble for Cas.

He milked the Jason Crookes thread as much as he could now he's moved on to a thread about Seymour, but instead of answering the OP's question he wants to drag up Seymours much publicised recent past, just about sums him up, a complete and utter kn0b head.

Too many injures, far too slow for a halfback I seen more from miller in the few games for hull than I saw from Seymour in all his time at hull.

Ellis and Seymour would be the worst halfback partnership in SL next season.

Too be fair to Seymour if you look at which position he was most effective at during his NRL career it was at six. Gentle said just before the start of this season that Buster isn't a natural scrum half. Would love to see the guy at least be able to put in some decent super league performance after what he's been through. I also believe it would be good for the sport in general to see someone back playing at the highest level again after experiencing mental health difficulties.

Seymour isn't very good. Signing him to replace Chase would be like Man Utd signing Danny Graham to replace Robin Van Persie.
