I'm not "whinging" about it, as I have said it doesn't affect me.
I just think it's a bit tight on people like yourself who has booked other things on that weekend knowing that we are supposed to have an away fixture on that date only to be told 3 weeks before that it is now actually a home fixture and you're now going to lose out.
I just think the club should offer you something in return like a voucher exchange for another match or something.

| what good is a voucher exchange though? if you miss the home derby giving you an a ticket to a game you already have a ticket for doesn't make any sense.

But then you will open up the floodgates for other people who can't attend re-arranged fixtures. There are fans far worse off than me like those that went to Catalans. They won't get a refund. There have been a few matches over the last few years I've been unable to attend due to being in hospital but I don't expect to be offered anything or be re-imbursed. And I wasn't saying you're whinging, but you do think those that can't go should be offered something? I've chosen to pay for my pass up front and its my problem I can't go, simple as imo.

For the same reason that they used to do it for, so you could take a freind or family member and it will help top the crowds up. Hardly like we haven't got the space.
Also be a token gesture to the fans that have missed out.

2 or 3 weeks' notice for the switch really isn't on IMO.
Has anyone's plans been disrupted by this and now can't go to our new home fixture on Good Friday? What are the club planning to do to reimburse you of the fixture you are losing out on?
Sorry if it's been covered already.'"
I can't go.

There is a difference between a postponment due to adverse weather conditions, personal reasons for not attending to a game being brought forward by 3 and a half months.
Strictly speaking, fans who went to Catalans have not lost out on the game, as it hasn't been staged yet.
Compare it to a big concert you want to go to, say you were going to go to the Stone Roses reunion gig in June. You buy a ticket, arrange for time off work and then they announce the gig to be on March 30th. Are you telling me you would not want a refund?
Sky have the right to move games, but I cannot recall any situation where the moving of a game was anything other than over the same weekend.
Finally, having paid for a season ticket for a series of 13 games over a 7 month period, should I be expect to keep EVERY weekend free should the company who has now taken my money choose to change each of them?
Yes, I expect the club to offer some sort of recompence for those season ticket holders who genuinely cannot get to the game.

My point is I can attend the match if I want to, I just have to cancel my arrangements which I am choosing not to do. Its not the clubs fault. Am I annoyed? Yes, of course. Am I that annoyed to cancel my arrangements? No, in the grand scheme of things its one game out of 13 I will miss.
Good luck trying to get recompence. If you look at your conditions of issue in your pass book, condition number 7 states: No refund can be made in respect of unused ticket.

I know they used to do it it but they stopped it for some reason and I'd guess that reason was cost.
they have never given free tickets to people inconvienced by by fixture changes before and I'd be amazed if they did now.

What cost?? The ticket is essentially paid for by the user in advance. Surely the club benefits from the incremental business this 'person' would bring - catering sales, programme, merchandise etc

I think you are missing the point. The club has rescheduled an event by bring it forward by three and a half months, with only 3 weeks notice without consultation to those who had already paid for it.
Its not a case of cancelling the other arrangements made. Its a case of unreasonable timings. I was in a position to be able to use the ticket for the original date (even when that had been changed from 20th to 23rd July, but that is not an unreasonable thing to happen given Sky and the screening rights they have). I am now not in a position to attend and that is the Company's decision.
As you say, its 1 of 13 games. But it is annoying and what I am looking for is acknowledgment that some have been forced to miss out and a token gesture from the club. Perhaps the chance to exchange the hkr voucher for another game?
Lawyers would have a field day with it, now, whats Hudgels number...

I'msure the club would still be doing it if it didn't cost them money

interesting you say those who went to catalan haven't lost out of a game as it hasn't been played yet, so someone like myself who went and can't afford to go again when the game is re-arranged am i not missing out then?

In the eyes of trading law, you got what you paid for. Travel and accommodation. If you paid in advance for your ticket, the game will be reschedule at a LATER date. If you were going to pay on the gate you have not missed out from a legal point of view. Catalan were forced to cancel the game due to a frozen pitch.
Hull have chosen to change the game from July to April.
The difference is immeasurable.

but we still miss out on that game, which is the main point!
