The guy landed on his head, maybe worth the red but no malice in it

No malice in it what so ever but it looked as bad as any other tackle of that manner! Was always going to get sent off no matter what referee it was, hopefully red hall go easy on him but 2 games I reckon!

I thought it was a yellow carder, but wasnt suprised it was a red, we was in line with the play, and imo the ref saw him on put on his head, and dont think he could have done any other but card him, hopefully SOS, as they was no malice in it at all

Ref was half decent 1st half but lost his nuts 2nd.. tansey happened to be involved in a slippery challenge and it happened.. let's face it tansey is not in anyway a malice player... but if Bailey can get away with worse every week then surely our boy can once..

The biggest problem you see tackles like that all the time but never see them get sent off like a lot of decisions there's no consistency

Almost word for word what I would have posted. One of those that looked far worse than it was, like the Lauaki one in the Rovers game. Difference was, the referee that day wasn't a buffoon.

He was completely inept for 80 minutes. Crusaders did nothing but interfere at the ptb all match, never stood square at any point, and seemed to strategically target Lauaki's head as the most effective way of dragging him to the ground. Yet the penalty count was nowhere near harsh enough and he didn't feel the need to even have a word with the captain at any point, never mind sin bin anyone.

Agar said in his interview that Tansey was done for something similiar last season. So does not look good.

Can see him getting a 2 match ban(should be SOS in my opinion)

I can understand why the ref sent Tansey off, but hopefully that's as far as it goes. Jordan put his hand up straight away and the Crusaders player accepted his apology.

Lauaki showed some composure at last tonight. After the away game against Crusaders when he was targeted and rose to the bait, he showed signs tonight that he is learning to turn the other cheek and had a decent game all round imo.

Thought he had one of his better games tonight.

it was definitley accidental, momentum was the major factor, tansey even helped the player to his feet after the card was shown which suggests he didnt mean it

Also thought Tansey seemed to be carrying a knock?
