| The gutting thing is that, despite being so poor since March, we were relatively close to making the 8. Even though we've been outclassed by the top teams, we've lost way too many games by 4-10 points. Hopefully the sort of games a player like Long can make the difference in with a bit of leadership and intelligence.

| If we had 3/4 of the ability of our 2006 side, we would be top of the league this year. THe standard is a lot poorer, or rather the class gulf between sides is closer.
Such a shame we have a idiot coaching.

| We need Cas to lose against Wigan tonight.
Next week...
Hull need to beat Wigan away
Quins need to narrowly beat Cas
Our mates Rovers need to hammer Warrington.
Final Week...
We need to beat Bradford at home
Cas need to lose at home to Celtic
Warrington need to narrowly beat Quins
I think

neither were full, and even discounting the 5000 we still had over 10000, more than your lot could ever wish for.

The way you've mentioned would mean we'd have to put about 70 points on Bradford (or 30-odd points on both Wigan and Bradford), as well as Celtic beating Castleford (which just is never gonna happen!). Best bet is to hope that Cas smash Harlequins to make up a lot of the points difference for us and Catalans drop out of the play-offs.
But, if we REALLY want to be optimistic, we could go your route and have this as well...
Quote: KNOCK OFF NIGEL "Next week...

Wakey need to beat Catalans
Final Week...

Warrington need to narrowly beat Quins
Saints need to beat Catalans'"
Which would put us 7th!
Now THAT would be some run of results to go our way!

| Cas play Celtic last game so, barring some sort of miracle, that takes them out of reach. So the only team in the 8 that can be beaten imo is Catalans (Wakefield at home and Saints away).
Warrington play Quins last game so one of them will finish on 24 (unless they draw) so then you're looking at us having to have a better points difference than Catalans and Warrington.
We play Wigan and Bradford - both form teams (unlike us) so I can't see that we would beat Quins or Warrington on points difference (assuming they lose their other games: Quins v Cas and KR v Wolves).
I suggest you think about enjoying Hull Fair and decide whether or not you want to buy a season pass for next year.
